Pneumatic Brake

The Pneumatic Brake is a highly versatile which is widely used in high accuracy tension control and provides the torque control. This specialized brake system offers torque control ranging from 160 to 960 Newton-meters (Nm) and used in multiple application for controlling tension. Our product is equipped with the colling fan operate at 24V DC.

Key Features:

Wide Torque Range:

One of the primary advantages of the air disc brake is its ability to provide precise torque control within the specified range of 160 to 860 Nm. This wide torque span makes it suitable for a diverse range of applications, accommodating the varying tension requirements of different materials and processes.

Air Pressure Control:

The air disc brake operates within a controlled air pressure environment. It requires a minimum air pressure of 0.02 MPa (megapascals) to function effectively and can withstand a maximum air pressure of 0.6 MPa. This allows operators to fine-tune the braking force according to the specific demands of the production process, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.

Benefits of Pneumatic Brake:

Consistency: Pneumatic Brakes offer reliable and consistent torque control, which is essential for maintaining product quality and reducing waste.

Efficiency: These brakes are highly efficient in controlling tension, resulting in reduced downtime and increased production throughput.

Durability: With proper maintenance, Pneumatic Brakes are known for their durability and long service life, making them a cost-effective choice for manufacturers.

Versatility: The wide torque range and adjustable air pressure make air disc brakes suitable for various materials and processes, providing versatility in manufacturing.

Applications:

Packaging and Converting Industry:

In the packaging industry, where precise tension control is crucial to ensure the quality and integrity of the final product, air disc brakes find extensive use. They help regulate the tension of packaging materials like Woven, Non-Woven, Foils, Plastic Films, and Paper, etc during winding, packing, slitting, converting and printing processes. This ensures that the packaging material is correctly tensioned, preventing issues such as wrinkles or tearing.

Paper Industry

Paper production demands careful control of tension to maintain the paper’s softness and texture. Air disc brakes are employed to regulate tension during unwinding, embossing, perforating, and rewinding processes. This ensures consistent quality in the paper products.

Wire and Cable Industry:

In the wire and cable manufacturing sector, maintaining proper tension is essential to produce high-quality products. Pneumatic brakes are utilized in wire drawing machines and cable extrusion lines to control the tension of metal wires or plastic materials. This technology helps produce cables with consistent thickness and properties.
